SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd - 2:00 - 3:00 PM Join us for a comprehensive, one hour review of the heroic and awesome accomplishments made by women, both North and South. The program, presented by Martin Mosho, will cover their role as administrators, journalists, nurses, spies and combatants in an age when women were expected to stay home. These remarkable women defied the culture of their time, surpassed all expectations and provided enormous support to the war effort. Sadly, they never received proper historical notice. This program reveals the enormity of their contributions and sacrifices. Q&A will follow. |
